Swapzone

Swapzone aggregates instant crypto exchange offers, and the provider you select executes the swap. The transaction is governed by that provider's terms, including its verification requirements and refund conditions.

Where the provider takes responsibility

Partner APIs let Swapzone present exchange offers within its own interface. Its Terms of Use describe the resulting transaction as an arrangement between the user and the selected exchanger, which carries out the exchange and settles it.

Swapzone describes its role as non-custodial: it does not handle, store, or transfer user funds. The selected exchanger handles the deposit for the swap and may hold it during processing or verification.

Swapzone does not provide stop-loss orders or automated trade execution, according to Swapzone's Terms of Use.

Account access and verification are separate

A Swapzone account is not required for its instant crypto exchange service. The selected provider can nevertheless apply know your customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) checks under its own terms. If suspicious activity is detected, Swapzone also reserves the right to request documentation and suspend a transaction pending verification. A transaction may be delayed or blocked until the required information is supplied and verified.

Corporate partner onboarding has a different scope. Swapzone's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy, signed on September 1, 2021, sets know your business (KYB) requirements for legal entities partnered with Swapzone, including identification of the company and its beneficial owners. Those business onboarding provisions do not replace the selected exchanger's rules for an individual swap.

Use remains subject to Swapzone's jurisdiction restrictions and the chosen provider's terms.

Refund decisions and support assistance

The selected exchanger's refund conditions matter before a deposit is sent. Swapzone's Terms of Use direct transaction claims to the exchanger and say final recovery decisions rest with that exchanger. Swapzone can mediate by helping with communication and negotiation.

That assistance does not guarantee recovery after a failed transaction, a blockchain execution error, or an incorrect receiving address. A request for a refund still needs the provider's decision; contacting Swapzone does not itself approve or complete the refund.

A LetsExchange offer and a verification hold

LetsExchange described its exchange API integration with Swapzone in a partnership announcement published on September 23, 2025.

In a hypothetical case, a reader selects a LetsExchange offer through Swapzone, and the provider pauses the exchange for verification after detecting suspicious activity. Assume Swapzone support acknowledges the reader's request for help while that verification hold remains unresolved.

The acknowledgement alone confirms contact with Swapzone. It does not confirm LetsExchange has cleared verification, completed the exchange, or approved a refund. The provider still needs to resolve the verification issue or decide on recovery under the applicable terms; Swapzone can help communicate with it.
