Swapzone fixed rates: what a quote lock covers
A fixed-rate offer on Swapzone protects the quoted crypto receiving amount from market movements, subject to the selected provider's order terms. Swapzone compares partner offers, and the chosen exchange provider executes the swap. The protection applies to that order; deposit requirements and verification conditions still matter.
The scope of a fixed quote
| Quote parameter | Meaning | Condition or limit |
|---|---|---|
| Receiving amount | The fixed offer protects the quoted crypto output against market changes. | The selected provider's order terms govern the exchange. |
| Fees in the displayed quantity | Fees are included in the comparison quantity by default. | An explicit fee exclusion overrides this general rule. |
| Estimated completion time | The ETA is an approximate processing time. | Rate protection does not guarantee completion within the estimate. |
The locked quantity is denominated in the receiving cryptocurrency. Its market value can still rise or fall after the exchange.
Choosing between fixed and floating offers
Fixed pricing suits a swap where certainty about the receiving quantity matters more than following price movements during processing. A floating quote can produce more or less crypto than the initial estimate, depending on how the market moves.
Provider pricing differs. ChangeNOW supports both options: its fixed rate locks at order creation subject to deposit conditions and includes a reserve for rate risk. Its floating output can change during processing with market movements and network fees. Compare the quoted receiving amounts for the same pair, networks, and deposit amount to assess the cost of that certainty.
EasyBit is listed as offering floating rates only. When enabled, EasyBit's Volatility Protection Mode cancels the exchange and refunds the deposit minus the refund network fee if the rate falls by more than the selected percentage; it does not convert its floating offer into a fixed-rate quote.
Deposit requirements and fee exclusions
Before sending funds, confirm the required asset, network, deposit address, and amount for the selected order. Swapzone instructs users to send the exact deposit amount. Follow any deposit deadline or confirmation requirement stated for that order; the fixed-rate label alone does not specify a duration.
Swapzone does not charge buyers a separate service fee. Its Terms of Use say fees are included in displayed comparison quantities unless otherwise stated. An offer marked "transaction fees are not included" leaves those fees outside the displayed rate. Check the sending wallet's network fee as well as charges included in, or excluded from, the provider quote.
Verification and settlement remain conditional
Fixed-rate orders remain subject to the selected provider's know your customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) rules. Swapzone also reserves the right to request documentation when suspicious activity is detected. Processing may be delayed or blocked until the required information is supplied and verified.
The selected exchanger remains responsible for executing the swap. A locked rate does not guarantee settlement or recovery after an incorrect transfer. Check the provider's deposit and refund terms before funding the order, alongside the amount it quotes.
